About this Book:

This book tells the story of Kaber, one of the most attractive hamlets in the upper Eden valley. There is much to celebrate about life in Kaber and this book takes a brief look at one thousand years of history.

There are almost one hundred photographs of village people and places, some old and some new. Every house in the parish has been recorded along with notes on each building's history.

A History of Kaber has been compiled with help from all the parishioners of Kaber and is a testament to their pride in their local community. This book is a must for anyone who knows and loves Kaber in particular and the upper Eden Valley in general.
